Handmade with lasting detail, proper weighting, and clean finishing — for rooms that feel the difference.
Lookout Mountain Threads is a custom fabrication studio nestled in Dade County, Georgia — at the foot of Lookout Mountain, where the ridgeline meets the sky. Every piece leaves this studio with the care, weight, and precision that only hand-finished construction can provide.
We work primarily with interior designers, decorators, and trade professionals who understand that the difference between a good room and an unforgettable one is in the details no one can quite name — but everyone can feel.
Refinement is not an aesthetic choice. It is a standard.
We specialize in the soft goods that give a room its soul — the weight of a properly lined drapery panel, the precision of a knife-edged pillow, the quiet elegance of a flat roman shade that folds cleanly every time. Trade pricing is available for qualified design professionals.
Throw pillows, euro shams, and bolsters in knife edge, simple welt, flanged, or plain styles. Sized to your specification.
Tailored, gathered, box-pleat, or scalloped. Standard 14"–16" drop with split corners and platform included. All sizes through California King.
Flat and relaxed styles up to 60" wide. Inside or outside mount at no extra charge. Lining upgrades available — interlining, blackout.
Pinch pleat and goblet pleat in any fabric, up to 108" finished length. Priced per width — simple to scale for any window.
Headboards, ottomans, benches, and custom cushions. Small upholstery work handled with the same precision as our soft goods.
Yardage estimates, fabric sourcing, and color guidance from our trade accounts with Schumacher, Kravet, Penny Morrison, and more.
From first inquiry to final delivery, we keep the process straightforward and the communication clear. Turnaround is 4–6 weeks from approved measurements and fabric.
Reach out with your project details — room, pieces needed, fabric direction, and timeline. We'll respond within one business day.
We provide a formal quote covering labor, with guidance on yardage needs and any fabric sourcing through our trade accounts.
A 50% deposit on fabric and 50% on labor is required before cutting begins. No surprises — everything is agreed in advance.
Your pieces arrive finished, weighted, and ready to install. Every item is inspected before it leaves the studio.
We hold trade accounts with some of the most respected names in decorative fabric — which means yardage estimates, color guidance, and fabric direction are available to you as part of our service.
Don't see your preferred fabric house? Reach out — we're happy to work with client-supplied fabric as well.
Every piece of fabric that leaves this studio has been touched with intention — measured twice, cut once, and finished as if it will be in that room for the next thirty years. Because it should be.
Whether you have a full room specification ready or you're just beginning to think through a space, we're glad to help you figure out what you need and what it will take to get there.
